Ballgame, Soccer, Parties, MOLLIE MAE

So Brayden and Karter play each other in their first soccer game.  I am anxious to see how "well" that goes haha!!! We may have to break up a fight on the field.

I all of a sudden got worried about Kman starting Kindergarten next year, so each night when Heidi does her homework I make Kman practice his name :)!!
This past week was the letter "U" at preschool.  It wasn't as difficult as I was thinking it would be.... thanks to my "thinking outside of the box" husband LOL! He would message me lists of U objects he could take.

His teacher posted this picture of him on the playground :).... love seeing daily pictures of him.
 Monday he took an Umbrella:
 Tuesday was Utensils:

Almost every afternoon last week the kiddos had picnics outside.  They would play their hearts out and dress up and have performances each day.  I tried sneaking down there to take pictures, but they ended up seeing me before I got there.

Love this!

Sophie performing
Commercial Break hehe----- I made my first smoothie last week.  It was rather yummy :)!!
I also made my sweet 10 month pregnant friend, Kayla, a chocolate cake LOL!  They invited us over for supper, so that was the least I could do.
Wednesday he took Uncle KyKy :)

He was the first one for the week to take "Uncle".... so that was nice :)!!

That same morning.... at like 10:00 (maybe??) my little garbage gut was eating a corn dog and boiled peanuts.  Not to mention she already had an oatmeal cookie.
Papa & Nana had been vacationing in Washington and they came in Wednesday evening.  Soph could hardly wait to spend time with Papa... so Thursday I dropped her off while I took groceries home.  When I came back she had been playing babies..... and named both of her babies Kayla LOL:
And most of you know that Karter man loves to tie something up.... objects, people.... he doesn't care.  I recommend not getting in his path if you see him with a rope.

I didn't get a picture, but Thursday he wore a "USA" shirt... so that was his U and Friday he took his Daddy's old "uniform"..... he was so excited about taking it since it was his Daddy's.

We took Presley with us to the pep rally.  I am so in love with her jeans and curly hair :)!!

At the pep rally I kept trying to take a picture of H & P, but Kman wanted to be right in the middle of it LOL! They were not having it.

When we got home from the Pep Rally, Heidi and Pres went straight to Heidi's room.  All of a sudden Heidi screamed bloody murder!!! 1 of her gold fish had died.  She was so heart broken.  Not only did 1 of hers die, but both of Kmans did??? So weird??? And then yesterday her other one actually died.  Kyle said they only have a life span of about 6-8 months?  Sophies are still truckin' along right now.

Of course we had to provide them with the proper burial services :)......

Friday night we went to the football game.  We love to cheer us on some Bobcats :)!! The kiddos have the best time playing with all of their friends.

Brayden, Stella Kayte, and Kman

I forget what Stella Kayte and Sophie were doing here.....

This baby girl cheered her heart out when we first got there!
It didn't take them long to crash when we got home.... or the big kids I should say LOL!! I was talking to Kyro and he wanted some pictures....

Soph was being a night owl!!
Saturday was an absolute GORGEOUS day!  They played outside until time to go to Heidi's friend's birthday party.
We had to get a Roll Tide picture for Kyro :).....
Kman and his friend, Avery, playing air hockey at the skating rink.....

They LOVE birthday parties at the skating rink.... I just embrace myself for the skated on and stepped on toes while helping them skate.

They announced it was time to eat LOL!! I guess he was starving.
After the party we helped my Mom unload some stuff and then both the babies CRASHED!  They took a super good nap before we headed to the pond to celebrate my cousin, Drew's, birthday!

 Bubble Action!!!

Frazier and Soph
 "Scary Story" time....

Heidi took charge of my camera and boy howdy do I have lots of selfy pics of her and her KyKy...

I couldn't help but smile as I went through them :)....

She even captures me and Soph :)

Birthday Boy
HAHA Her face pure looks scary doesn't it??? JK!
Yesterday was another beautiful day!  After church we came home and had lunch and then spent majority of the day outside.  Right before time to go back to church, I caught Kman dancing on Kyle's toolbox.  I had to snap a picture.  He is so handsome!! Looks just like a miniature Kyle to me.

And y'all..... today a miracle happened :)!! We prayed for this baby girl long before she was conceived.  So exciting to welcome.....

Her Beautiful door hanger she had made
Kay had a C-section, so we had to wait in the waiting room for a while before they moved her to a regular room.  Sophie was pretty patient :)!! She started getting very ancy after about an hour.....

Brayden tracing Sophie's hand while we waited...

Love this :)
Praise the Lord both Kayla & Mollie Mae are doing well!  I love her slick head.... she does have some really light peach fuzz though :).....

Welcome to this CrAzY World Baby Girl!!

I had to get back to get Karter Man from Preschool, but this Baby Girl and I are going to have a sweet Bond :)!!! I know lots about how to spoil Baby Girls!!

Quit My Job???

So yesterday was one of those poor pitiful me type of mornings.  I was so down and out because Karter and Sophie are CONSTANTLY telling me how mean I am.  No lie yesterday morning Sophie kept closing her eyes and praying, " Dear God thank you for not letting my Mommy be mean to me".  I'm like Sophie.... you gonna make me cry.  She finally said, "What you want me to say"... haha! I said, "Thank you Jesus for my sweet Mommy"..... RRRIIIGGGHHHTTT???

Well that lasted one go round and then she saw how it was "getting to me", so she kept saying her original.

I think I was just tired and emotional and maybe PMSing???  But I mean gosh!! I want to scream..... I QUIT MY JOB TO STAY HOME WITH  YOU...... But I know that would certainly be rather Devilish.

Of course my cry baby self finally started crying.  I think it is more of the fact that Heidi never ever ever ever ever said or says anything like that.  And those two tell me all the time.  So slightly confusing I guess?  I talked to Kyle and told him I guess I needed to find me a job to keep my sanity and he was like.... "Baby, you are an excellent mom.... they are 3 & 4 and really have no idea the meaning of what they are saying.  Or the impact.  I would much rather you be at home with them every day than them go to daycare and us regret it".  He is such an optimist :)! {THANKFULLY}

Maybe all of that mixed with the fact that I have hardly any one on one adult interaction adds to the emotions.  So I had my "just me" melt down.... later laid down with Sophie for her nap... and after laying snuggled with her for 45 minutes, I got up and felt like a new mom.

Being a Mom is hard.

When we picked Hank and Heidi up from school, I gave them both big hugs and just told them I needed a hug today :)!!

AND to top it all off.... wouldn't you know last night Brother Garry had a video for us to watch about Birth Order.  It was absolutely what I needed.  Made me laugh a lot just thinking about my 3 kiddos and how it made perfect sense.  Just a brief summary of what we talked about:

First Born:
~ Groomed for success
From the time your first child is born, we are overly protected.  Can't eat dirt, wash the paci everytime it drops, no table foods, mostly go by the books.  When you add another child to the mix, the older the first gets, they hear, "You're the oldest.... they look up to you".  I know I am guilty of telling Heidi that she sets the example.

- The guy on the video gave us several references like most Presidents are 1st born.  It is just natural for 1st borns to be successful.  Majority of CEOs are 1st borns.  They take charge.  Heidi is such a take charge, little Mama so to speak.  She is a HUGE helper for me.

He also used another funny example about car buying.  What does a 1st born child do when in need of a new vehicle? Lots of research first!! The baby in the bunch is like.... "yea I want that right there in this color.... like today".  HAHA! Soooo Sophie!

Middle Child
~ Negotiator by trade.
~ Often rebellious.  They feel as though they can't do as good as their older sibling and yet doesn't get as much attention as the younger one.
WOW!! And I have talked on here at how I struggle with that with Karter.  How I feel like I had to push him to the side when he was a baby because this new baby came in the picture.
~ Did you know that Middle children are generally Entrepreneurs?  Bill Gates, Donald Trump, and many more are examples.  Middle children seem to learn how to work the system the best.

Babies:
~ Generally outgoing, never meet a stranger, class clowns, etc.  Jay Leno & Joan Rivers are some examples.  He was talking faster than I could write HAHA!

But this is so Sophie!  She longs for attention.  Most definitely outgoing and never meets a stranger and funny as all get out.

So by her constantly praying her "little prayer", in her eyes she knows that it bothers me.... so she is doing it.  But to me it was making me feel like the WORST mom ever after hearing it for the 3,293,748 time!

***He did make several good suggestions:
(1)  He said empower the middle child and ask them what they want to do rather than always let the oldest or baby decide.  I am guilty of doing just "whatever" to stop whomever from whining.  Know what I mean?
(2) Treat each child different.  They are different.
(3) Lighten up on the 1st born.  So many times I am like .... "Heidi will you do this.... Heidi will you do that".  Mostly because I know she is reliable.  He said make the other two (or other children even if you have more) do stuff.
(4) Hold the little one accountable.  Don't just baby them all the time.  This is hard for a lot of us moms.... I think mostly because "this one is the caboose" type of mind set.  So we (I) tend to let them get away with more than the other two.

Needless to say, my mind set today is much different than it was yesterday.  This morning has been a MUCH better start to the day than yesterday.  I just pray that I can be the best mom I can be and that I can be the Christian influence my children need.  I want them to grow up and succeed in the World, but I also want them to know I will always be by their side.

I will not quit my job :)!!! It is the greatest and HARDEST job on the planet I do believe.  Just like with any other job, I am gonna have good days and bad days.

Every good and perfect gift is from above.

My 1st Party "Job"...

I never really looked into doing parties as a  business, or for anyone besides my kids I should say.  So much time goes into each one.  Well when Avery's sweet Momma kept asking me, I finally gave in.  I am glad I did.  It was a great learning experience for if I did want to do something like this one day.

There were some hiccups.... of course haha!  I thought I was going to get to decorate much sooner than I was able to, so that kind of put a damper on things because I do have children.  So just had to make some minor changes..... nothing major.  But y'all know I am a planner LOL! So when my plan gets thrown off, it takes me a minute (or 5 minutes HA) to re-group.  I decorated Friday night and was going to finish Saturday morning.  It rained all night and all day Saturday.  When I got there, the ceiling in the hall had fell through and there was a pipe leaking.  Great!!! Thankfully it was in the hall so did not destroy any of the decor I had done.  (Pics at the end).  So not only did I have to finish decorating, I also had to mop and clean up the pipe leak.

The theme was Mickey Mouse and was his first birthday celebration :)!!  Thankfully I had just done Sophie's Minnie Party, so was able to re-use some of the things I did for her & my friend Ashton had the buckets from her Mickey party that I was able to use (the black ones you see).

Okay... his name was neat to me.... I saw these plant things standing when I went to decorate, so I decided to hang his name on them to fill space and also just to be "different".  The only thing was the air made the boards spin.... so I ended up covering the backs with the red polka dotted paper and putting "I am 1!" on them.  Worked perfect.

Little tissue paper fun & my party BFF Modge Podge :)

All kids love a Capri Sun :)

I liked the tissue center pieces.  They were different to me.

Yummy candy sticks

Thanks Ash for the cute dip bowl too :)!!
I think the party was a huge success.  They seemed to have liked it & he had a good turn out despite the rain.

Here are pictures from the ceiling leakage.  Sorry they are dark... I couldn't find the light switch LOL!  Thankfully Avery's grandad is a cop, so they knew just who to call to notify of the pipe bust.
That ceiling tile was SO heavy from soaking in water all night.

Hard to see but water all in the floor.

Little sounds seem to irritate me for some reason.... so this pipe was constantly going... "drip drip drip drip drip drip drip".. which made it hard for me to concentrate LOL!
And God said.... "Let there be light" :-)!!!!
Garbage can caught the rest of the drip and I began mopping and squeezing, mopping and squeezing.
*** Anyway, lots of fun doing this party..... and much learned too :)!!! Thank you for the opportunity Jason & Anna to help make Avery's 1st birthday celebration special :)!!

Sophie Girl, Fun at MeMe's, Rodeo Fun, Sunday Rest

So many times I feel like we are in fast motion.  That doesn't make much room for down time.  I am thankful for the busy life :)!! Don't get me wrong.  It just eventually catches up I guess.

Friday after the pep rally, Kman was extra whiny so I laid down with him for a nap.  He had just fallen to sleep and I heard Heidi screaming.  Now when Heidi cries, I know something has happened.  In this case, I had a good feeling Sophie was involved since it was just the two of them.  Sure enough.... she hit Heidi with a bungee strap thing.  It had a hook on the end, so one part of the hook hit her (like to the right and below my thumb in the picture) and the hook got her below my finger.
They were cleaning up Heidi's room and Sophie brought me the bungee and told me she found it.  I told her thank you and to please put it in the kitchen so I could take it back outside.  Well obviously she didn't listen.  Heidi said she came to her and told her she was getting a spanking and way laid her head! Soph got in trouble of course..... and she once again defines me as the meanest mom ever!!!

Weapon
Once everything calmed down, we went outside and let the chickens roam.  Mom came over and spent much of the afternoon with us.  The chickens love the kids playhouse.  I kept trying to get a picture of them on the window seal... didn't exactly work out.

How stinking cute?
Hard to tell, but leaves were blowing everywhere..... I tried to get a snap shot... it was so pretty.

Heidi LOVES animals.  She is a country girl trapped in the city haha!

Little selfie I found :)
Babee left & the kiddos and I were waiting for MeMe to come.  While we waited, they wanted to have a snack picnic.  So that's exactly what we did.  I saw a beautiful picture opportunity and took full advantage :)!!
I had my first party "job" this weekend, so the kids stayed with MeMe that way I could decorate and prepare.  They had so much fun, but I could hardly wait to get over there to them.  I slept terrible!!! I missed them like crazy.  When you go from 3, never a dull moment kind of atmosphere, to 0 and way too quiet, it gets lonely.

As soon as the party was over Saturday, I quickly dropped all the stuff off at home and took off to MeMe's.  They were napping when I got there, but it didn't take them long to wake up.

Once they woke up, we glued eyes on a bucket she had for Halloween.  They loved doing that.

They then helped to make miniature pizzas.....

I really enjoy taking the kids to rodeos when they are in town.  They all love it & it brings back lots of memories for me.  My mom lived "on a farm" when I was growing up, so I was always around horses and cows.  So it kinda takes me back in time for a little bit.  Plus just the look on their faces as they watch each rider is priceless.

We have been to about 4 total rodeos over the past couple years, but for some reason Saturday night Sophie got upset during the calf roping.  She was screaming, "THEY ARE HURTING THE BABY COWS"..... I was slightly embarrassed, but assured her that they were A-OK.  Once she realized they got up and ran off when the rope was un-tied, she was okay with it.

Got a couple videos I took during it... I love videoing on Instagram because you have 15 seconds to start and stop as you want, so not a lot of extra "stuff" in there.

Ole Buckaroo! Best bestie ever :)!!! Maybe that's why I feel so at home at rodeos too? She was Miss Rodeo Alabama!!
We got home from the rodeo a little after 10... all the kiddos were still awake much to my surprise!  So we got showers and then rocked.  It was after 11 before everyone settled down.  Yesterday morning when I got up to get ready for church (after sleeping with Sophie 1/2 the night because she got up), I walked in my room and found Karter and Heidi all snuggled up.  Sweetest thing to me!  When I showed them the picture, they both said, "EEEEWWWWWWWWWW GROSS"! LOL!
After church we ate lunch at moms.  We left not long after lunch.  We came home and all laid down.  I am pretty certain my iron is low.  I can usually always tell because I know that with 3 small kids, I am going to be tired.  But when I can barely go and have to make myself move and I just want to lay around, that is a sign that my iron is low.  We laid down for about 3 hours.  When we got up, I took some iron medicine and seemed to have felt better just from laying down.  I didn't nap, but just relaxing that long seemed to have really helped.

We are not ones to  miss church.  But I was doing all I could to hold my head up, so we didn't make it to church last night.

I still had everything from the party to put up too, but after laying down I got a small burst of energy.  So got everything cleaned up.  The kiddos played so nice outside and we just hung out.  God knew my heart for sure.  I hated that we missed.  I really enjoy my new Luke class.

Anyway, this morning as I was getting ready to upload the pictures I had taken over the weekend, I noticed some precious little girl had taken MANY selfies with my phone :)!! Made me laugh!! Each picture completely expresses her personality.

And gonna leave you with the sweetest video from Kman :)!!  There is some show on the ipad they watch constantly and they sing this song, so he was going around singing it last night.  "I like you..... I like you.... just the way you are".
