Summertime Fun!

We had a fun day of swimming after Sophie's party the other weekend.  Thought I would share some of the pictures with you :)!

 They were trying to learn how to do flips....

 I catch myself glancing at Kyle sometimes and thinking just how blessed I am.  He is a Godly, Christian, HANDSOME husband.

I hold my breath when I think about how close we are to actually starting another school year.  Last summer was full of RAIN!! And this summer has been nothing short of BEAUTIFUL!

Lake Fun..... 4th of July Fun

 Last week on Tuesday we left from camping and headed to spend the rest of the day at Gantt Lake.  We had a wonderful time (we got about 3 or so hours of boat time in before it messed up and we had to be towed in).....

I have lots of memories growing up on Gantt Lake, so I am glad they are making some too!

 ... and then sad part of the day.....we were towed.....

We were thankful Kyle was still home when this happened.  He knew just what to check for and what to do.  I don't call him the "Boat Doctor" for nothing :)!!

 They had to order the part to fix the boat, so no boat on the 4th.  But that was A-Okay.... the kiddos still had just as much fun.

We ended the day by going to The Opp Lake to watch fireworks.  Went to our usual annual spot and guess what.... could not see them this year.  LOTS of disappointed folks.  AND no fireworks for us this 4th :(!
