Gorgeous weekend

Look at my Sophie girl :)!!! I had to take her to the doctor Friday :(! She had been running fever, was very raspy, had a hard cough, green snot, and just flat out didn't feel good. She is now on Claritan daily and she had a small amount of fluid on both ears, but they were hardly even red. Dr E gave us an antibiotic to prevent them from getting infected.

Well Little tiny weighed 14.3lbs. She will be 9 months old Saturday! Long story short... she weighed 13.6lbs at her 6 month check up which was about 2 1/2 months ago.... so she hasn't even gained a pound in that length of time. She eats very well..... she is just petite. Dr E kept talking about how small she was, so finally I asked him just how small he was talking about... so he pulled the chart out and charted her growth and needless to say... she isn't on the charts. She's way below the 5th percentile for her age. Her cousin Frazier is making the same progress. I think he finally made it to the 4th percentile on his weight. They just got to be the two cousins that inherited Grandmama's genes :)!

I was teaching her to text *haha*!

Friday afternoon I was starving!! With me taking her to the doctor, etc... I didn't get lunch. I went to Sonic, but the dad gum button wouldn't work *L*! So I just left because they were full!!

So my dad and I had planned that we would all go out to eat....we decided on the Elba Oyster House.... and anyway this was before we left.

That above is Karter outside of the restaurant and you can barely see Heidi way in front of him.

Well this is a gross story... soooooo if you have a weak stomach, skip over it!! I'll make it as short as possible. We were at our table and our food had just gotten there. I had gotten a hamburger and onion rings... which would have been my 2nd burger since I started my diet... so that's a pretty good accomplishment for me. Anyway.... Sophie got to coughing, and then I could tell she was choking because she had been sucking on a fry.... well all of a sudden (thankfully I turned her facing me) she was like a never ending faucet. Everything she had consumed..... just came up! My shirt was FULLLLLLLLLL of Sophie's supper. It was so bad that it even made it's way down my pants!!! YUCK!!! And the smell..... OMG.... she had eaten pear yogurt, ham & Pineapple baby food, and of course the french fry.

I didn't want to make everyone around us sick, so I held her against me and Kyle walked out with me.... we took her shirt off because she of course had a change of clothes... but i on the other hand didn't, and the clothing stores right there at us were closed. The smell was AWFUL!!!! SO I just sat on the back of the car with the hood up and let the others finish eating. We also had to ride with the windows down coming back!! AND by the time I got cleaned up at home, my burger was COLD and not good! So that was a pretty adventurous Friday night needless to say.

Saturday morning Heidi went on a trail ride with my mom. Here's Sophie trying on her hat *L*!

She had so much fun!!!

Look real close... you can see a butterfly trying to land on Heidi.... it's like up to the left of her head.

While Heidi went trail riding, Kyle, Karter, my Dad, and the Messer boys helped Cindy do some stuff to her yard. So Sophie and I ran to Enterprise to get some stuff for birthday parties.

The left side is at Christmas.... the last time just Sophie and I went shopping. The right side was of course taken Saturday.

I had to make it back in time to take Karter to his friend, Luke's, birthday party.

Luke with his Daddy... then Luke was telling Karter something *L*!

After the party, we headed home and of course both babies fell asleep. So instead of getting them out and then 40 minutes later loading them back up, we headed on out to my Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Becky's for a fish fry!!

Here are the yummy fish before :)

Beck Beck bought the kids some bubbles to play with. We carried Hank on out there with us...

Aunt Becky and Soph

Kyle ended up riding with Abby and the Messer boys out there..... and of course he immediately started "playing" with the kiddos.

Abby..... you are about to outgrow the rocker :)

Abby and Aunt Becky.... and then Jamie Leigh :( she had her tonsils removed Thursday.... so she's not feeling too hot!

Heidi and Babee made it out there.... and the first person she went to was Bubba!!

Align Center
I didn't know until about an hour or so before hand that Tyler was coming.... so that was a really nice surprise :)

Me, Abby, Molly J, and Sophie

Going to feed the horses.....

Sophie and Babee.....

I love to hear a child laugh.... enjoy the video :)

Here are the fish after :)!! The kids love fish!

The moon as most of you know.... was the closest to Earth than it has been in 18 years... and it'll be like 2029 or something like that before it's that close again. So I had to get a picture of course :)!

Abs and Bug

Sunday after church, Kyle, Heidi, and I took off to Dothan to get the kids some summer clothes. I didn't expect such hot weather in March.... and I have never been this far behind on having their clothes for the upcoming season. I ALWAYS have a season ahead waiting... maybe I'll get back on track now :)!!

So here's Heidi at PetSmart:

We also had the 1 year old class at church.... during service.

Here's me and Karter Man:

My dolled up Heidi girl:

Papa and Karter:

More of Sweet Heidi.... hard to believe she is so big.

In the bottom picture, Kyle was telling her to look.... and she was in the middle of saying "Me looking" when he snapped the picture. DrAmA child I tell you....

And Kyle pushing the ByeBye Buggy!!

Well it's my turn to drive the dance girls today.... so it should be a full day :)!!!

I think it is supposed to be another beautiful week :)!! Happy Monday!

A Me Evening (For about 1 1/2 hrs) :)

Happy St Patrick's Day!! I hope you remembered your green :)!! I don't have any reason to just "like" this day, but it's just fun to say you HAVE to wear green so you don't get pinched.

This afternoon I guess you could say I had my once every 2 month me time. I had my hair done and eye brows waxed :)!! Something about doing those two things just make me feel refreshed. Kyle got off work in time, so he picked the kids up from Kids World and they spent all afternoon together. I missed them like CrAzY!! Just for that 1 1/2 hrs..... I couldn't get them off my mind!!

On my way in I picked us up some supper from Benton's.

This picture of Sophie was actually taken last night in Kyle's "Man Cave"!! Earlier this week I got out Heidi's 12 month summer clothes to go through for Sophie... and I thought there was more, so we were on a treasure hunt ;)!! The pool table ended up being a bad idea because Karter came in and of course started throwing the balls!! YIKES!

This is a picture Kyle took of the girls this afternoon. We were in such a rush this morning that I didn't have time to get all three's picture taken in their green.

Oops.... a little out of order... but this was last night before church.

How precious is Soph?? :)!! And my handsome boy in the background.

I have decided that it doesn't matter what time I get up in the mornings... I am going to be rushed starting about 7:20. I get to playing with the kids and getting them ready that I lose track of time. But like I told my dad.... I'd rather go to work 1/2 dressed than to miss out on good mornings. My coworkers have just gotten used to seeing me come in with sometimes only 1 earring on, spit up on my shirt or pants, drink spilt on my clothes, or who knows what...

Like this morning.... I ended up forgetting all of Sophie's bottles at home!! Her formula was in her bag, but not her bottles. Thankfully Kids World had one she could use. But by the time I try to remember all of the other stuff I'm usually bound to forget something. I can't tell you the number of times I have forgotten Karter or Heidi's breakfast in the microwave... or juice on the counter... haha... or spoon... seems to be something is forgotten at least once a week. But I don't ever remember forgetting the bottles... I think I forgot the formula once... which I guess is worse than bottles... haha.

This was this morning.... Heidi wasn't dressed yet... and was "cold".... so she got on "Karter's bed" and cuddled! Oh and speaking of... guess what??? HE SLEPT ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!! I honestly do not remember the last time Karter slept ALL night. I was amazed. I got up with Sophie from about 1:20-2:20... and I kept thinking he would be up any minute.

This was this morning too.... he LOVES to try on mine and Heidi's shoes. I'm not really sure why!!?!?!?! Maybe they are just easier to get to than Kyle's *L*!?!?!!?!?!? He'll appreciate these pictures later... as well as all the other embarrassing ones I seem to take.

Anyway.... it's already the weekend.... hard to believe. I wished the days went as slow as they did when I was a little girl. The days seemed to never end... and now they seem to end too fast. That's why you have to enjoy each moment... and pick your battles. Don't fight your kids over the small stuff. It's not worth it!

Have a marvelous weekend! I am sure I'll have lots of pictures to share come Sunday night/Monday. One thing about it... Heidi, Karter, and Sophie will definitely be able to look back on their childhood and almost know their every move *L*!!!

Forgiveness

Before I get started on my "soap" for this title.... I want to say we were finally able to go to church!! Kyle and I actually got home at the same time. He and the kiddos played outside while I got the pizza ready (per Kyle's supper request *L*), changed, washed bottles, etc....and did 2 loads of laundry. At about 5:50 they came inside and took a bath and then ate supper before we left. It felt good to be back in the swing of things. Melissa Flowers gave her adoption story and I'm so glad I didn't miss that.

But anyway.... the reason for my title is on Sundays, Brother Garry has been doing a series with Romans 12. I love the way he started doing this because it is so much easier for me to understand. He just takes a small group of verses and we really break each verse down.

Can you think of the one person that has truly just hurt you the most? The one person that you honestly can't stand to hardly think of or be around? The one person that really makes your body cringe??? How do you respond to that emotion?

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matt 5:44

If you could open everyone's chest and see straight through to their hearts, you can most likely see scars. Scars from being hurt, shamed, embarrassed, neglected, and every other negative word you can possibly think of. BUT that's just what they are.... scars. Once we have forgiven that person, the scars are still there.

If you have ever thought.... well they don't deserve MY love.... well guess what???? Once you have thought that, that person needs your love now more than ever. As Romans 12:14-16 states, we chose to bless those who have wounded us. Forgiveness is a choice.

I always laugh at Brother Garry.... he somehow seems to always bring laughter into the sermon to make me understand things better. He said women are historical. Which is so true. We sit and dwell over the past and will occasionally bring something from the past up. Men are over it right then. Not very often do they bring up something that happened yesterday.... let alone 5 years ago.

Forgiveness is a process.
(1)forgive- remember this is a choice
(2)forgiving- the process
(3)forgiven

You have a choice: YOU be God, or let God be God.

This one really stepped on my toes...... "Revenge is NEVER an option for a follower of Christ". How many times have you thought about how easy it would be to get even with someone?
*Personal retaliation is prohibited!! It is like fighting a fire with a hose filled with gas.

Those of you that know me know that I don't do enemies very well. If I know that I have wronged you, I will come to you and apologize. There's no questions asked.

Okay.... I know this post got longer than I like, but I am going to leave it with some quotes that I really like.... and to be honest, I have no idea who said them or where I got them from. I just keep them wrote down and look at them often.

Heaven is not for people who are scared of hell..... it is for people who love God.

We can't say that we love God, but hate the church.

As a parent, if someone asks your child who the Godliest person they know is, and they don't name you, you are not doing your job.

Now that last one should hit home with you. It does me.

It's a Good Life!!

You know..... I am so thankful for my life. I have a wonderful family, a wonderful husband, wonderful friends, amazingly wonderful children, and a magnificently wonderful Father up above that loves me! How much better can it get?

Look at these sweet innocent toes...... how adorable? Mrs Lori and Miss Hayley at Kids World painted them yesterday.
Last night after we got Heidi from dance we went to my Dad and Yana's for supper. With this new time change, time seems to slip away from me even faster. Right now as I am writing this blog, it's 10:01 pm... but I still feel like there's a lot that I need to do.

Sweet Karter man.... and Sweet Sophie girl.... Sophie was watching Papa and Karter play "Monkey Pile"

Sophie is pulling up on everything and anything... and balancing so well!!

HAHA.... we have LOTS of funny memories with this ball!!! Kyle kept trying to balance on it... it was so funny because unexpectedly (Of course I didn't get the initial one on video) Heidi pushed the ball out from under Kyle.... toooo funny!

Karter then had to join in on the fun :)!

He has to check everything out.... just like his Daddy!

Karter is going back and forth between the two labs my dad and Yana have on the fireplace. He calls one of them Sadie and one Bryce. Sadie is my dad and Yana's lab and Bryce is my cousin Jonathan's lab. Bryce gets to visit Sadie often :) And happened to be there last night.

Sophie sure wanted to hold Heidi's Popsicle!

My sweet babies!!

Well I did better this morning with time... .still ran, ran, ran.... but at least it was better. It was still dark outside, so the kids and I got to playing and I didn't realize what time it was. I looked at the clock and it was 7:20 and I still had to finish blow drying my hair! In case you don't know, I have to be at work at 7:45..... so i TRY to leave the house by 7:30.

This afternoon Kyle worked in Andalusia, so he got home pretty early.... so he went to the land and helped Jonathan with his fence.

So the kids and I hung out for a while... and then headed out there ourselves.

Karter loves Sophie's little puffs.... I thought it was cute how he kept feeding them to her... I think she enjoyed it too :)!

Mommy and her girls....

Heidi actually took this picture..... I actually thought it was neat seeing how little Sophie looks compared to her surroundings.

Oh how this little girl loves her swing!!

Whoa Nelly.... my little Diva Child!

I was trying to get the wagon clean so they could go for a ride.... didn't work out so much. Needed the water hose, but I knew that would be an absolute mistake to let Karter see me touching the waterhose! He'd be soaking wet in about 3 minutes.

The girls enjoyed sitting in the car snacking on chips and puffs.

They love their Aunt Amanda :)!

HAHA I had to take this picture.... it looks like Jonathan is sitting doing nothing while Kyle is doing all the work. JE is actually working on the chain saw :)!

How precious is this picture??? I just love it... and those wide lenses actually make Soph's cheeks look a little puffier *haha*!

MKC III lovessssssss his Daddy!!!

Josh got to go too :)!

Heidi has realized that she is big enough to "carry" Sophie. It makes me very nervous.... so I don't let her go far.... but I still make a huge deal about how big Heidi is getting and she loves it! Wonderful Big Sister!

So for about 3 days now I keep forgetting some things that I needed to get at the store on my lunch break.... so after we all got home, Heidi and I ran to the Family Dollar real fast. Karter was a little whiny.... and wanted in the sink with Sophie. So why not :)??? Kyle bathed them while we ran to the store.

After everything calmed down some.... the kids needed to get their last play on *L*!! I was in the kitchen and all of a sudden it got dark in the living room.... well Sophie found the chords... and pulls the lamp chord out of the wall! That is just what Karter always did.... Heidi never did touch it! He of course had to go check it out after I said something to her.

Heidi was "helping" me fold towels..... and then somehow Karter wound up laying on most of them pretending like he was going to sleep.

I am excited because we are going to try our hardest to go to church tomorrow night.

Oh I had lunch with the bestie today!! Yummy Rancho Grande! She is out on Spring Break!

Oh and I need to share some pretty cool stuff Heidi has learned... which this is mostly for my records when I look back on this blog.

*She knows that green and yellow make blue
*She can spell: No, Heidi, Bobcats, Mat, Cat, To, Dog, Karter, Sophie, Mommy, Daddy, Apple, Opp, Hank, and I am sure lots more than I can't think of right now.
*She knows that red and blue make purple

They are learning the color combination's at Pre-School. I am amazed everyday at how smart she is. The list above could go on and on and on, but most of it she has been doing.

Anyway.... hard to believe tomorrow is hump day!! I hope you all enjoy the day!

PS: Kyle and I worked on a canvas project tonight for Sophie's party :) AND I got some hot pink table cloths, and beautiful hot pink and yellow flowers for Heidi's party at the Family Dollar. You can find good deals if you just look.... in advance that is :)!
