Fun Filled Labor Day Weekend/ 1st Day of Preschool

We had a great Labor Day weekend.  It was busy, but fun nonetheless.

Friday I took the kiddos to the Pep Rally and met Kayla and her bunch :)! Kyle worked at my moms rentals all day, so later that afternoon we rode out there to hang out while he finished up.  The girls ended up staying with Babee :)... They had a nice girls evening.
So into the Pep Rally (until they made us move... we were in wrong section)

Heidi is such a farm girl! Loving on one of Babee's hens.
Just like when they are home, as soon as their eyes open, they are rippin' and rarin' to go outside.  They love being outside with all the animals.  Mom sent me this picture of them Saturday morning :)! I LOVE this picture:
Saturday morning we headed to MeMe's.  She had rented a huge slide.  So we just had ourselves a good ole day with the slide, food, fellowship and of course football.  We had a yummy shrimp boil :)!

We got there a little bit before everyone else.  It had been a while since we were all together, so I loved watching the cousins all first "group up".  They get so excited.

First time Soph did the slide.  All the other times she has been scared.  She had A BALL!

LOVE this picture of the cousins.
Kyle and Jon Wesley started wrestling on the slide, so I had them do it again so I could video :)!! Brotherly Love!

 We had.....
Taco Dip

Yummy Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Regular chips and dip for Kyro and Kiddos

Kyle and I were outside watching all the kids slide and Sophie and Karter were taking a "break".... well I was going to video them just talking and anyway.... here is what I got..... poor Karter Man.... his little sis is such a Bully:

The slide was really so much fun.  While everyone watched the game, Tyler and I did it with them.  I figured I would be sore the next day, but maybe Crossfit is paying off hehe!

I was 1 tired Mommy/Aunt
We got home Saturday night about 11.  But was up and ready for church Sunday morning :)!  After church, Tyler took Heidi to see the 1 Direction movie in 3D.  While they did that, the rest of us went to Dothan to get Kman's school supplies :)!  He had to have a special kind of paper that only a few stores carry.  It was afternoon fun :)!

Sophie sure enjoyed aggravating her big brother though on the ride home.  She kept calling him a baby.  I didn't get that part on video, but I did get her being so "proud" and him being so whiny.  She had really done him in!

Had time before night church to put his name on his school box.

KyKy sent me this of Heidi bug on the way to church.  She had a busy and tiring day.
We had child care Sunday morning and night.  Kman and Heidi stayed in there with us Sunday night.  They had starting fighting, so Kyle was "making" them hug.... Didn't work out so well....
Sunday night Heidi stayed with MeMe.  MeMe and the 3 biggest grandgirls had talked about it Saturday, anyway... of course Kman wanted to stay too... but Heidi really wanted it to be just the girls since it had been so long since they all stayed together.  Here is a video of them fussing about it...

MeMe and the girls walked to Sonic :)

Monday morning they went to Huddle House :)!
Soph stayed with Dad & Yana Sunday night.  Dad sent me this picture of her and Grandmama Monday morning.  She LOVES her Grandmama!
I did Crossfit in Andalusia first thing Monday morning and after I got home, we headed to the lake....

River Rats in motion :)

We had a great day with family :)!! It did come a good rain shower, but once it left, it was a beautiful day.

Love this :)
Kyle talked him into knee boarding down the hill hehe.... Sophie wanted no part in it.

We did managed to get pulled over Monday night coming home.  We were almost home.  We both thought the speed limit was 45, but it was actually 35.  Thankfully the officer gave us a warning.  THANK YOU JESUS!  We were both praying we would get a warning.  I think he knew we were telling the truth.

Preschool went good yesterday.  Karter really wouldn't tell us anything about it, but he said he would go back today.  Everything we asked him, he would respond with "It's a secret".  Hoping he will talk about it today.  He cried this morning though :(.  We overslept, so I didn't have time to get dressed.  Kyro took him in (& Kman wanted me to go too... so maybe that had something to do with it?) & Kyle said he would have been fine.  He sat down next to a little boy and when he did, that little boy said, "that chair was for his friend".  So that upset Kman :(.  Made me so sad.  Ms. Becky got him though and had him almost calm when Kyle left.

I "stole" (hehe) this pic from my friend, Amy's, fb page.  Love it.
Kade, Karter, & Parker
I love that they upload pictures throughout the day so that we can see what all they are doing.
Yesterday during the pledge :)

See Kman sitting to the right :)??
Last night we took pizza over to The Tisdale's :)!  Been a while since we all got together.  The kiddos were all overly excited and extra loud hehe.
The 3-some
How sweet is this note that I found in Heidi's homework folder yesterday?
To translate: Wow (How) much I love you

I love you so much you make my heart meat (melt) fast.  I just love you so much.

And then drew the 3 of us :)!!.... Made my heart meat aka melt for sure!
She wanted to wear her hair wavy to school today, so after their bath last night, we blow dried her hair and then braided it all over.  12 braids to be exact.

Karter wanted a group picture this morning.  He wanted a "family hug", but Heidi didn't.  Then Sophie did, but Karter didn't.  So it didn't turn out.
For those of you that saw Sophie yesterday, yes she was in the same clothes LOL! She fell asleep last night on the way home and I didn't have the heart to wake her up.  So she had a bath this morning.
And the moment that made Karter mad....

Wavieness...

 Kyle toting Kman in....

I really hope he will talk about it today.  I want to hear all about it :)!

I will leave you with a couple sayings I saw on Pinterest the other night.

This one COMPLETELY cracked me up and still does when I read it:
And this was one that I saw and sent to mom.  Since she works at the school, she sees this most everyday.

Emotional to Say the Least.... 1st Day of Preschool

Not even gonna lie.  This morning was so much harder than taking Heidi to Kindergarten.  Now I cried when we took her the first day, but this morning was like an uncontrollable water works.  I did really good until we started leaving.  That's when it hit me.

My days at home with him are DONE! Like his school days have officially begun.  I know it is only 4 hours a day, but that is 4 hours a day that I am used to having him here.  Plus I think it has something to do with the whole Middle Child thing.  Like I feel like my time with him was shortened.  He went from being born to starting preschool.  I was so not prepared for my emotions.

He was SOOO excited.  He has been looking forward to this day for MONTHS!  He got up this morning and got dressed with his Daddy while I cooked 1 of his favorite things for breakfast.... eggs.  Before we knew it, it was picture time & time to scoot.
Not sure why he wants to be a Cat when he grows up, but that was today's pick.

Heidi said, "Karter don't you want to be a Fireman? Ninja? Police Man?".... all answered with, "No....... just a cat".  (I assure you that we do not believe that when we die we will be re-incarnated into an animal hehe).

Had to get one of Heidi Bug while we were in the school line.

Can you not just feel his excitement??

A picture with his supplies.  His school box was hidden.

He really did great.  He didn't cry.  He was a little caught off guard when we first walked in by the # of kids in there & the noise.  Plus he had been looking forward to seeing his friend, Kade, and he hadn't made it yet... so that made it harder for him.

Sweet Ms. Becky was coercing him off my leg by talking about Kyle when she taught him.

This is a little sad, right???
Ms. Becky was wonderful!  She held his hand and kind of introduced him and let him be her "helper" so to speak to get him "okay" with it.

I am sure he is having a blast.  I can hardly wait to hear what all he says about it.  When we left there we went to my dad & Yana's house to get Sophie Girl.

I was already an emotional wreck and was blabbing to Kyro about how hard it was and what a dork I was... yada yada.  He was like... "No babe... you're just a mom".  Well I almost had my composure back together before we pulled up and I said, "They just won't stop".  I was referring to the tears, but he said, "What...... they won't stop growing???"..... ohhhhhhhhhh I lost it again.... I was like, "noooooo the tears...... wwwhhhyyyy did yyyooouuu have to sssaaayyyy tthhaatttt?" LOL!  Of course when he said that they opened BACK up! We sat in their drive way for about 2 minutes before I could get out to go in (hence the picture that he so kindly took unbeknownst to me &  put on Instagram/FB of my wiping tears).

I finally saw Sophie standing on their porch and got out to go grab her up and hug her.  Well the little stinker turn and ran inside.  Absolutely did NOT help matters.  Kyle's like, "Toyia..... come on... that's just Sophie.... that's how she does".... ! He was so right, so I put my brave face on and went in and started showing her the pictures.

Got some pictures of her crazy end too....

Now down to 1 not in school.  I'm not sure how she nor I will manage each day (just kidding).  We will be chomping at the bits when it is time to get Kman and Heidi Bug.

Every good and perfect gift is from above.

It Has Been Exactly A Year Since Sharing MY STORY.....

Wow! It has been a year to this day that I shared with all of you my most private secret.  I am still so shocked that I was able to share it with all the pride I felt for so long.  God is good :)!

So much has changed for me in a year.

I have become thankful for my trial.  Thankful for the people that it reached.  Thankful for God bringing me through that trial to get to where I am today.  Thankful that my family & close friends didn't give up on my bad attitude self.  I am a better person.  Better mom.  I am 100% medicine free. YAY!!!  (And it is A-OKAY if you aren't.... I just was bound and determined to get off mine).

I was studying our Sunday School book last week and at one point it talked about self inflicting pain and how it made you feel.  It was like it was directed right at me.  One thing I left off with My original story was how every day I would take a paper clip and unfold it.  I then would take the end and dig behind my already bare nails.  My nails were so short and torn (I peeled them to the quick daily) and I made sure to make them bleed.  It was almost like I would try to inflict physical pain to try to escape the emotional pain.

That was a HUGE sign of me starting to "get better" when my nails were growing.  I would look at them and smile everyday.

Am I perfect? Absolutely NOT! No where close!  I still have good and bad days.  But who doesn't?  God chose me to go through what I did and to SAVE ME from it so that I could share with everyone else.  I felt so alone when I was in that state of mind.  Like no one knew how I felt or cared.  But that's not true.  I think that's why He kept telling me over and over and over that I HAD to share it with "The World".  I finally obeyed :)!

I shared it Sept 2, 2012.  I gave my first "public" testimony Sept 30th at church and have had NUMEROUS people contact me about it.  By April 2013 I was 100% off my medicine. "AINT GOD GOOD"!!  So not proper English, but that's how I feel.

Anyway..... gonna leave you with a link to that post in case you missed it.
