She took us to Lambert's for the first time. There really are not enough words to describe how fabulous everything was. We each got something different and everyone loved it.
A little "Rock, Paper, Scissors" while waiting for our food....
Something about a hotel gets the kids so very excited. Karter thought he was Super Man a few times jumping across the beds....
.... and we weren't there long before Sophie just HAD to drop her flip flop off the balcony to see where it would land. See that white thing in front of the black square (garbage can), yeah... that would be her shoe!!!
When we got back from Lambert's, we headed to walk around the pool and the beach.
Babee was waiting for KyKy and then they were walking down to meet us. I snapped this picture without her knowing of her checking her wig out :)....
My beautiful family! |
I am sure you all remember the storms that came through a couple weeks ago? I don't know that I'll ever forget because Kyle was gone and the tornado sirens went off all night. Rather scary night. Anyway, it hit Orange Beach pretty hard. We got there about 4 days after the storm had hit and there were dead fish along the shore, all types of debris, a pine tree, and even a boat that had washed upside the jetties.
The pine tree limb.....
Even with all of that, it was still absolutely beautiful. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. The next day we spent ALL day in the pool and on the beach. It was fabulous!
Not even gonna lie, the water was like getting in a bathtub full of ice.
Baby girl has to have frequent snacks. |
Little football fun with Daddy! |
Like this action shot of Karter jumping in the pool with the "NO DIVING OR JUMPING" sign in the back ground? |
We left around lunch and decided to stop by The Crab Trap. It was really nice. We sat outside and the kiddos were able to play while we waited for our food.
Playing Tic Tac Toe |
... Heidi then got my camera and did a little photography :)....
You guessed it... that would be Sophie's feet! |
It was really nice to get away for a couple days. We got back in time for Karter Man's game and then had to leave at 4:30 the next morning to head to Birmingham :)!! But it was worth the trip and the memories made.
And to leave you with a little Frozen singing on the way home...... (KC can't hardly stand it LOL and he is way behind on knowing the words to the songs)
