I forgot to attach the above picture to the previous post.... but it's of Kinleigh, Heidi, and Hank at the park Friday afternoon. My sweet cousin Abby goes to school in Auburn and when she comes home she occasionally likes to pick them up from KW and take them to the park. They LOVE Abigail!!!
My beautiful Heidi before school yesterday(most of you know she is very much into picking out what she is going to wear each day.... we actually do it the night before. Monday she realized she could wear "Sophie's" flower clips in her hair..... so now she wants to wear one everyday!!!):
My mom picked the kiddos up yesterday as she usually does for me. Heidi told me that she likes for her to pick them up from Kids World because I get off too late *haha*! Well mom hung around for a little while and then Karter insisted that he wanted to go with her. I think she was excited :) she has never kept JUST him. But she sent me a message and they hadn't been gone 10 minutes and he fell asleep. I think he finally woke up a little after 8:30.
So my Daddy and Grandmama came over. They stayed for a while and we all just hung out and talked. It was really nice. It honestly is amazing the difference from 3 little ones to 2. Not that I would trade my cRaZy life for anything in this World.... but it almost seems..... easy with 2. Wait no.... it was easy with 2.
The girls are 4 years apart.... so that makes a big difference.
Sophie was sitting on the riding toy and Pumpkin Doodle was pushing her around. Well I had just told her to be careful because Sophie will slide off..... well not 2 seconds after I said that Little Tiny fell off. Of course she screamed.... Heidi thought she was in trouble... so she ran under the table. It scared Sophie more than hurt her..... and I kept telling Heidi she wasn't in trouble.... that it was an accident. But I think it upset her because her little sis got hurt.... plus I think it embarrassed her some because she thought she was in trouble.
Papa had to travel all day.... and on top of that didn't sleep the night before... so he was a tired puppy.
I did a SUPER easy supper :)!! Hamburger Helper, green beans, and low fat crescent rolls. I haven't cooked hamburger helper in.... gosh I don't even remember the last time. But our pantry is over flowing with boxes of it because it has been on sale for .99 at IGA and I buy some everytime I go it seems *L*!
Dad gave sweet Soph a bath in the sink for me. She loved that.
After they left, Kyle worked on cleaning the kitchen and the girls and I went to the playroom. Heidi kept begging me to go.... we have been working on going through toys and organizing in there. Once Soph got sleepy, we put a stop to it and came to the living room. After Heidi and Kyle got a shower, we all just sat around.... watched TV... and I actually layed on the couch and got caught up on ALL of my magazines. I had about 5 People's to read (no joke), Paula Dean, Oriental Trading, AND Southern Living.
We didn't go anywhere..... I didn't wash any clothes..... it was just an all together very enjoyable evening. Just one thing missing..... a lot of noise!!!! We were most definitely missing K-man.
***Oh this weekend is Meredith's Miracles Cookies with Characters in Andalusia.... I think it might start at 1:00. At the moment I am rocking Sophie.... but if I am wrong, I'll let you know.
