We started the night off with a Thanksgiving Meal the school provided. The babies were still under the weather (will tell ab DR at the end) and cranky, so at the last minute Kyle asked Mom if she would come stay with them.
After supper, there were all sorts of activities for the students. There was a cookie walk (Miss Shyness wouldn't do of course), Face Painting, Coloring the local grocery stores paper bags to give to customers, of course shop the book fair, and then they had a really neat "pageant". It wasn't really a pageant pageant... but it was where the students dressed up like their favorite book character. I'm telling you, people are so creative. That was fun to watch.
Anyway.... I love this picture of Kyle and Heidi (even though she wasn't looking *wink*).
Today they wear their favorite team colors, so she got an Alabama "A" on her face just for that :)!!
And I love this idea. IGA provided lots of paper sacks and the kids were able to color one. I would love to get Heidi's when I go.
Presley and Heidi did a great job!!!
We sat in the back, so it is hard to really see the characters.
We got home a little after 7 I believe and the babies were rocking with Momma and watching none other than "The Lion King". Karter is actually watching that as we speak *L*!! Anyway, they were both running fever when we got home. Mr. Mom took them to the DR yesterday. Dr E said Sophie looked perfect and Karter had fluid on both ears ;(. That's why he runs fever mostly at night... which makes sense... but what about Sophie??? Teething i guess??? They both have an awful cough. Hers sounds worse than his to me... and Karters nose has now started running. Thankfully DR E gave them an antibiotic (well mostly Karter, but he said it wouldn't hurt to give Soph some too), and gave Kman a couple more things. They aren't contagious!! So that was good to know. Hopefully they'll get better over the weekend.
Well..... IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY!!! What a week it's been :-) but even with the crazy week, Friday still came pretty fast. The days just don't last as long as they used to. When I was a kid the days took forever to end..... I'm sure not to my parents :-)!!
Anyway.... hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
