The seems to be the hot question right now. It's all up in the air. Dr E is baffled. Her tests are coming back normal. Today he *Thankfully* was able to see her in her very irritable state.... it's strange. You can just tell that something is wrong. She just isn't "normal". Since he couldn't find anything wrong with her, he sent her to the hospital to have a chest xray and blood work to see if maybe that would show something. That all came back normal too. But let me tell you, that was pure TORTURE for Sophie, Mother, and myself. Mom took Soph for us and she called me on their way to the hospital and I met them there. We all had to hold her down so the sweet nurse could draw blood and then it took 3 of us to hold her down so they could take xrays. It was so pitiful. So sad.
So we really don't know what is wrong with her. All we know is she has ran fever for 4 straight days, coughing like it hurts, runny eyes & nose, and very VERY irritable. So we have taken her off her antibiotic he put her on last Thursday to see if maybe that's upsetting her stomach. Hopefully that's all it is... just not sure about the fever part.
She seemed to act better tonight. I have to call Dr E in the morning and let him know how she does during the night and we'll go from there.
She weighed 18.9 with her clothes on. So that's great. She has gained weight :)!!!
Anyway.... Kyle got her ready this morning. He's so funny. He sent me an email asking me if Sophie looked okay and attached a picture *L*!! I thought he did really well.
Here are our matching hospital bracelets:
She was sooooo tired. She finally conked out after we got finished eating. Tired baby girl.
So anyway.... maybe tonight will be a good night and I'll only have good things to tell Dr E.
Oh... Kyle also sent me this picture of Jaycee:
He said she has been out all day and has just stayed under the carport mostly. She doesn't wonder off. She has also been minding very well and has been very loving. Maybe she'll stay this way :)!! Anyway..... Monday is pretty much over..... Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer.
